All Mason County Schools will be operating on Non-Traditional Instructional Day tomorrow April 4 and Friday April 5, 2024, due to the NOAA updated flood predictions and the increase of the flood stage forecast. The students will complete packets 4 and 5. Staff and students do not report but will be available online or by email.

Hannan Jr/Sr High School will be closed tomorrow April 3, 2024 due to power issues. The school will be closed for students and staff except for custodians who will work regular hours to monitor the building.

Mason County band night will be April 9th at 6 PM, at PPJSHS Auditorium. The four secondary bands in Mason County will be presenting their Region 2 ratings programs for the community. All four bands will be then be traveling to Williamstown on April 12, for the WVMEA/WVSSAC region ratings.
There will be special performances by the PPJSHS and Wahama JSHS choruses. Everyone in the community is encouraged to come out and see our wonderful musicians.

This evening the Mason County School Board recognized Scott Ballard Mason County EMS Director, Jeremy Bryant Mason County Emergency Management Director, Chris Devoss Environmental & Safety Manager ICL IP America, and Holley Davis Stop The Bleed Instructor for their donations of Stop the Bleed Kits to our secondary schools and they let us know that every Mason County School will soon have a Stop The Bleed Kit.
