Whole grains are grains that have not been cracked, crushed, rolled, extruded, and/or cooked. Whole grains contain all the essential parts and naturally-occurring nutrients of the entire grain.
Look at the ingredient list 📑 for whole grain, whole wheat, and whole (other grain), to assure you are getting a product that contains all parts of the grain. 👨🌾
If you see words like wheat, wheat flour, durum wheat, multigrain, and stoneground, you may be missing parts of the grain. 🌾
Fun Food Fact: Words like enriched flour, degerminated, bran and wheat germ in foods are products you want to avoid if you want to consume whole grains because these are not whole grains!

The School Breakfast Program (SBP) 🥞 is a federally funded meal program that plays a vital role in ensuring that all students have access to a nutritious meal to start their day. 🍊
🥛Add more yogurt to your diet by eating more at breakfast with these few tips:
Create a parfait by layering your favorite yogurt, 🍓 and granola.
Use yogurt and 🍍 to top off your pancakes or waffles.
Make a fruit smoothie and add yogurt to increase the protein. 🍏
Fun Food Fact: Yogurt contains two proteins, whey and casein.

A fun nutrition fact about 🥚 is that they are a great source of choline, a nutrient vital for brain development and function, which most people don't get enough of in their diet; the majority of an egg's choline is found in the yolk. 🍳
