For the 8th month of school, we’d like to recognize Roosevelt Elementary as our elementary school with an attendance rate of 93% and Hannan Jr./Sr. High as our secondary school with an attendance rate of 95%. We appreciate our students, families, and staff. Thank you for doing your best to show up and learn! We wish you a wonderful Spring Break and hope you rest, recharge, and prepare to enter the home stretch.


Reminder-Tomorrow April 18, 2025, is a Professional Learning and Faculty Senate Day. Students do not report. Spring Break is April 21-25, 2025. Students will return to school on Monday April 28, 2025. Enjoy the break!

Congratulations to all the Mason County Bands for receiving Superior Ratings at the Band Festival. Hannan, Point Pleasant Junior High, Point Pleasant High, and Wahama bands all received the highest ratings available in their class #MasonProud



The Mason County Career Center is holding their Skills USA Spring Extravaganza on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1:00-5:00. There will be a car show, inflatables, rock wall, food trucks, and vendors galore. Come out and support FBLA and SkillsUSA students. See flyer for details.

All Mason County Schools will be operating on.a 2 Hour Delay tomorrow 4-7-2025 due to backwater flooding.

New Haven Elementary School recently took a trip to Hawk's Next State Park to release 350 fingerling trout into the tail waters of Mill Creek. Thanks to all who made this field trip successful. What a great learning experience. #MasonProud









Hannan High school is hosting a Job and Information Fair on April 1st from 3 pm to 6 pm. If you know anyone looking for a job, we have job recruiters; welding, airplane repairs; APG, EMS, manufacturers, etc. Medicaid , Marshall University , Aetna, Birth to 3, healthcare, etc have signed up plus many more.
Over 20 organizations will be there.
One organization pays high school graduates $20.62 - $ 23.02 an hour.!
Also, free pantry food will be available to take home or take to a neighbor in need. Hannan High is happening so spread the word for this event
