The Mason County Career Center is hosting a Fall Open House on October 17, 2024, from4:00-7:00 PM. Everyone is welcome. There will games, food, and fun for all ages.
Reminder-There is no school for students on Monday October 14th, due to Faculty Senate and Professional Learning Day.

Reminder-Mason County Emergency Management and Mason County LEPC will be conducting a Shelter in Place drill at our schools today 10-11-2024. The drill will start at 9:00 and last approximately 30 minutes. No one will be permitted to enter or leave the schools during this drill.

Congratulations to the schools that had a 95% and above attendance rate for the first month of school that ended September 11th. Roosevelt and Wahama were the attendance winners for the month with 96% and 95.9.% attendance. Ashton, New Haven, Point Pleasant Primary School, and Mason County Career Center all had 95% #MasonProud #AttendanceMatters
Kindergarten students had a signing day when they started school this year. They signed a contract committing to 1. Regular attendance 2. Following rules 3. Doing one's best academically 4. Graduate #MasonProud

Families, we want to say Thank You for investing your most valuable resource with us. We are committed to helping your student achieve success and reach his or her goals. September is Attendance Awareness Month. Attention has been focused on chronic absenteeism, which includes both excused and unexcused days, because any loss of instruction has an impact on a student. We are here to help and look forward to working with you. A magnet was provided to every student, if you did not receive one, please contact your child’s school and ask for another. This magnet provides a place to keep track of any days missed, in addition to resources that you may find valuable. Again, a reminder there was a printing error and Election Day is November 5, not November 8.
